Farm Contracting

Ploughing and Cultivations: 

 

• Reversible ploughing 

• Sumo trio 3 metre cultivator

Drilling: 4 metre Simba Freeflow band sow drill (minimum tillage), 4.8/5 metre combination drill.

Fertiliser spreading: Granular and prilled up to 24 metre spread width. Liquid fertiliser 12,18 and 24 metre with Househam AR3000 sprayer. 

 

LGP and high clearance spraying: Using Househam AR3000 comes with flotation or row crop wheels, 12, 18 and 24 metre spraying with bout marker for pre-emergence and grassland spraying with GPS and mapping for precise application. 

 

Grassland Management:  

• Tine weeding 

• LGP grass seed broadcasting 

• Heavy rolling 

• Fertiliser spreading

• Grassland reseeding 

• Silage making 

• Haylage making 

• Hay making 

• Grassland top-up using tine harrow and broadcaster, then consolidated using ring rolls or heavy roller. 

 

 

Mowing: Using high output triple disc mower conditioners with groupers.  

 

Tedding: Using high output 6 rotor tedder.    

 

Raking: Using twin rotor rake, to produce even rows for balers. 

 

Combining: Using high output Claas Lexion combine harvesters with the option of a side knife and specialist seed sieves.

Big square baling: Using Massey Fergusson 185 making high density bales in all bale able crop types, 80cm wide x 90cm tall bale (3x3) size up to 250 cm long (can chop if required) 

 

Square bale wrapping: Using McHale 998 bale wrapper capable of wrapping in excess of 80 bales an hour in all sizes from 80 x 70 up to 160 x 120 including double bales with a maximum length of 180cm. 

 

Hedge cutting:  

• High reach, high quality flail hedge and verge cutting  

• Multi disc saw blade.  

   

Topping: Flail topping or high output batwing topper 

 

Loader work: 

 

• Wrapped round and square Bale moving  

• Unwrapped bale moving all shapes and sizes 

• Silage clamping 

• Grain loading 

• Muck, soil and compost loading 

• Pallet and bulk loading. 

• 7 metre telehandler
